Paralegal Student Scholarships

Next award year: 2025

If the cost of furthering your education is getting stressful, don't worry anymore! STLPA is happy to offer the opportunity for a student member to be the recipient of an every other year $500.00 scholarship to assist with the costs of books and classes. The successful applicant has maintained at least a B average in all paralegal program classes. St. Louis Paralegal Association membership is a requirement. This scholarship is awarded every other year on Paralegal Day each May.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be currently enrolled in a paralegal program, be a member of STLPA, and complete the scholarship application process prior to the April 1 deadline in the award year.

The St. Louis Paralegal Association is a non-profit association formed to promote the advancement of the paralegal profession in the St. Louis area through encouragement of high ethical and professional standards and to provide access to information and education for paralegals, and other legal professionals.

The St. Louis Paralegal Association is affiliated with The National Association of Legal Assistants ("NALA"). Each member of St. Louis Paralegal Association is bound by NALA's code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility.

St. Louis Paralegal Association supports paralegals through continuing education programs, seminars and workshops. We promote the profession by working with various paralegal programs in the St. Louis area. We work with the local and state bar associations in the adoption of standards for paralegals in this rapidly growing field.

The St. Louis Paralegal Association does not provide legal services to anyone.
