Featured Speaker: Jason Schwent CIPP/USS, Of Counsel, Lathrop Gage LLP

Jason Schwent's practice is focused on technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity and data privacy. He has significant experience handling cybersecurity breach response matters and investigations in addition to advising and counseling on data privacy and security risk management issues and practice. Jason has handled cybersecurity breaches for organizations of all sizes and across numerous industries. Protecting clients' brands and reputations is a top priority for Jason, all while ensuring compliance with numerous state, federal and international compliance regulations and statutes. 

In addition to handling cybersecurity matters, Jason also has significant experience in licensing technology, intellectual property and software. His background is in intellectual property litigation with a focus in software and IT technology, bringing strong technical knowledge to the firm.
